SEEING WALLS – VANGUARD GALLERY, SHANGHAI 2006

This exhibition, funded by the Arts Council of Wales displayed a body of wall and floor-based works by me and John McClenaghen. The exhibition was held at the Vanguard Gallery in the cultural quarter Shanghai.

The exhibition comprised a chaotic array of models, frames, neon wall drawings, vinyl works, digital video installation and tableaux.

The works were arranged to point in all directions at once away from the space of encounter – towards potential spaces and the apparent gaps between each element.
